I was one of the fifteen million people who “liked” it. I think it’s perfect, but grammarians would find plenty wrong with it. I ran Johnson’s text through grammar software and found that it violated several of those pesky rules. For instance: « A comma should be added after the word beautiful because the next word, and, is a coordinating conjunction in a compound sentence. e The sentence that starts with the subordinate phrase to carry about my #1 goal of complete privacy contains a dangling modifier and should be rewritten. « The phrase no wedding planners or outside resources were hired should be rewritten in the active voice. + The word end in the phrase the end results is redundant and should be eliminated. + Ihere should bea comma after spectacular because, once again, it separates a coordinating conjunction and in a compound sentence. .83 +
