ABSTRACTS Hungary was open to establish new relationships in Latin America after the opening of its first post-war embassy in the subcontinent, in Buenos Aires. The establishment of relations stalled between September 1952 and June 1953 because of the inertia of the Hungarian diplomatic service, and the dubious actions of the Bolivians. Following the accreditation of the Czechoslovakian ambassador to La Paz, Hungary followed suit and pushed forward to accredite Imre Szabö to La Paz over the course of October and November 1953. The new relations involved building ties with local left-wing groups, and negotiations about possible commercial deals between Hungary and Bolivia. The pandemic appeared at the end of the First World War. The then unknown pathogen was responsible for the death of millions. Several waves of the pandemic reached Hungary including Baranya County. The aim of my research is to present the effects of the epidemic in Baranya County with a primary focus on the spread of the disease through time and land. I have presented the number of people who died from the epidemic in the communities I examined from which we can speculate the scale of the pandemic in those areas. During my research I have compared death certificate duplicates with public administration documents, contemporary articles and memoirs from that time. Regardless of the stage of their therapies and the applicability of their methods, the therapists had to continue the processes they started with their patients/clients in the online space from one day to the * 112 +
