POSITIVE EDUCATION — THE AXIOM OF CONTEMPORARY UPBRINGING AND EDUCATION
Theoretical and empirical research of positive psychologists has created the
basis for the creation of positive education programs that help students orient
themselves toward their strengths of personality and their positive develop¬
ment. Gillham is convinced of the identification and subseguent support of
adolescents’ strengths, as it contributes to their well-being, increased assertive¬
ness and resilience, as evidenced by the growing growth of adolescents’ good
human relationships, the search for meaning and the fulfilment of real dreams
(Gillham et al., 2011; in Taher, 2016).
In general, the great efforts of the supporters of the movement for a positive
perception of human life and its key impact on the prosperity of the young
individual in society are evident.
