(4:1) The tombs and graves in which the blessed ones of old (= the ancestors), the citizenesses, and the men of the land repose (4:2) on the West of the City (Thebes): (It was) found that the thieves had violated all of them, ... (4:5) The Mayor and Chief of Medjaypolice of the Great and August Tomb, Pawero, along with the (other) chiefs of Medjay-police, and Medjay-police and (4:6) administrators of the Tomb, (also) the Scribe of the Vizier and the Scribe of the Treasury-Chief who were with them, made report to: (4:7) the City-governor and Vizier, Khaemwaset, the Royal Cupbearer (wdpw nswt), Nesamun, Scribe of Pharaoh, (L.P.H.), the High Steward of the Estate of the Divine Adoratress of (4:8) Amen-Re, King of the gods, and Royal Cupbearer (wdpw nswt), Neferkare-em-perAmun, Herald of Pharaoh, (L.P.H.), and the great notables. (4:9) The Mayor of the West and Chief of Medjay-police of the Tomb, Pawero, placed the list of the thieves in writing (4:10) before the Vizier and the notables and the cupbearers (wdpw).
