The only remains which belong to wb3 nswt royal wb3" Meriremetjef ís his funerary cone
(DM 452) from the New Kingdom from the Theban necropolis where his burial place
must have been.*” Two honorific titles also appear on the object, Ard n k3p ‘child of the
kap’ and Asjj n Jmn ‘favoured of Amun’. The first refers to his growing up in a royal
palace, the letter implies his connection to Thebes, maybe in some respect to the Amun
precinct as well.

Nebseni is also attested only on his funerary cone (DM 373), which indicates that his
burial place was in Thebes. He is designated on the object as wb3 nswt royal wb? and he
must have been active during the New Kingdom.
