A kötet egy germanista és hungarológus "műhelyébe" nyújt betekintést. Különböző kutatási projektek és tudományos kollokviumok tanulmányszövegeit, valamint egyetemi és egyéb előadásokat tartalmaz, amelyek a német és magyar lírai költészetre összpontosítanak a 17. századtól napjainkig. A kutatási érdeklődés itt elsősorban a világ lírai megélésének korszakos változásaira irányult: ebben az értelemben ezek a szövegek tematizálják többek között a barokk érett költészetének újdonságait, a sokszínű költőiség virágzásának sajátosságait a Goethe-korszakban és ezen túlmenően a német és a magyar költészet fejlődésének párhuzamait és kölcsönösen gyümölcsöző kapcsolatait a közelmúltig. Ebben az összefüggésben az utánköltés problémakomplexuma (ezúttal a kutatás és az oktatás kulturális transzfereként is) ismételten különös jelentőséget kap. A német-magyar tematikának nem ellentmondva a szerző a külföldi hungarológia megalapítójának, az 1926-ban Berlinben elhunyt Robert Gragger professzornak és életműve emlékének ajánlja munkáját. Az egyszerre német és hungarológiai perspektíva is hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy a kötetben megjelenő irodalomtörténeti "metszéspontok" körvonalai élesebbé váljanak.

This volume offers an insight into the 'workshop' of a Germanist and Hungarologist. It contains various study texts on research projects and from scientific colloquia as well as university lectures and other lectures focusing on German and Hungarian lyric poetry from the 17th century to the present. The research interest was mainly focused on epochal transformations of the lyrical experience of the world: In this sense, these texts thematize, among other things, innovations of the Baroque poetry, peculiarities of the synchronous blossoming of the diverse poetic offer in the Goethe period, and beyond that, parallels and mutually fruitful relations in the development of German and Hungarian poetry until the near past. In this context, the problem complex of re-poetry (this time also as cultural transfer in research and teaching) repeatedly assumes special significance. Not contradicting the German-Hungarian theme, the author dedicates himself to the memory of the founder of foreign Hungarian studies, Prof. Robert Gragger, who died in Berlin in 1926, and his œuvre. The author's simultaneous (German and Hungarian) perspective has also contributed to the sharpening of the contours of the literary-historical 'intersections' in this volume.
