- Görög Demeter (1760–1833), a magyar irodalom és művelődés elkötelezett szervezője a Habsburg Birodalom fővárosában képviselte a magyar kultúra ügyét. I. Ferenc császár gyermekeinek nevelőjeként komoly befolyással bírt a magyar nyelvű folyóiratok és könyvek megjelentetése ügyében. A ma Bécs városrészét képező Grinzingben vásárolt magának területet, ahol számos szőlőt telepített, tokajiakat is. Ezek felsorolását adta ki 1829- ben, az egyes fajták tulajdonságainak, illetve a belőlük készíthető boroknak rövid leírásával.

- Demeter Görög (1760-1833), a committed organizer of Hungarian literature and culture, represented the Hungarian culture in the capital of the Habsburg Empire. As the tutor of the children of Emperor Francis I, he had a great influence on the publication of Hungarian-language journals and books. He bought land for himself in Grinzing, now part of Vienna, where he planted numerous vine species, including Tokaj species.
He published a list of these in 1829, with a brief description of the characteristics of each species and the wines that could be made from them.
