Standard Suche

Alle Begriffe in der Suchzeile werden standardmäßig mit einem logischen "UND" und mit "Begriff beginnt mit" verknüpft. Um die Suche einzugrenzen, verwenden Sie die "erweiterte Suche" oder geben Sie die Boolschen Operatoren direkt in der Suchzeile ein.

Erweiterte Suche

Die "Erweiterte Suche" is ein Konfigurator um gezieltere Suchanfragen erstellen zu können. Folgende Möglichkeiten stehen zu Verfügung:

  1. Hinzufügen von mehreren Suchfeldern (Regeln) und Suchgruppen.
  2. Verknüpfen der Suchfelder und Suchgruppen mittels den logischen Operatoren "UND/ODER"
  3. Das Suchfeld einschränken mit:
    • Begriff beginnt mit
    • Begriff endet auf

Ez a többszerzős tanulmánykötet nem egyszerűen a felsőbüki Nagy család története, hanem Magyarország hosszú 18. századi története néhány kardinális fontosságú aspektusának beható vizsgálata révén, egyetlen család néhány kiemelkedő tagjának életpályájához kapcsolódóan. A kötet tanulmányai szélesebb körre kiterjedő vizsgálatok elvégzésével és a kínálkozó párhuzamok kiaknázásával jutnak el a családtörténetinél egy szinttel magasabb következtetésekig. A 17. századi előzményektől a 19. század eleji csúcspontig kísérik figyelemmel a hivatalviselő elit működését a felsőbüki Nagy család történetének egyes mozzanatait a középpontba állítva. Ezen család kiemelkedő közéleti szerepet játszó tagjainak élete ürügyeként szolgál az általánosabb vizsgálatoknak, és elvezet az ezekre épülő következtetésekig, illetve éppen ezen pályafutások beható elemzéséből bontakozik ki az általánosabb érvényű, Magyarország 18. századi történetére vonatkozó hipotézis.
Summary (EN)
This multi-authored volume is not simply the history of the Felsőbüki Nagy family but the history of Hungary in the 18th and early 19th centuries through analyzing in depth a few cardinal aspects, related to the careers of some outstanding members of a single family. Studies in this volume embark on wider investigations and profit from obvious parallels to reach conclusions on a level higher than that of family history. They observe the office-holding elite from the beginnings in the 17th century to the high point in the early 19th focussing on certain moments in the history of the Felsőbüki Nagy family. The life of some eminent public personalities in this family either serve as pretext for more general investigations and leads to general conclusions built upon these or a scrutiny of these careers gives rise to a general hypothesis about the history of Hungary in the 18th century.

Benda Gyula poszthumusz megjelent könyvében előbb többféle forrásra épülő makroelemzéseket vet össze (rögvest relativálva az egyes források értékét), majd mikroperspektívából láttatja a keszthelyi társadalom egyes csoportjait. Mikrotörténelmi elemzései nem illusztrációk, hanem a történészi vizsgálatnak a kvantitatív módszerekkel egyenrangú eszközei: a makrovizsgálatok eredményeinek értelmezésére, kontrolljára, finomítására, sőt módosítására adnak lehetőséget. Ráadásul néha a mikrovizsgálatok sugallják a makroszinten elvégzendő vizsgálatokhoz a hipotéziseket, és egyébként is közel hozzák az olvasóhoz a régi keszthelyi embereket. A könyv végül is a társadalomtudományos történelem szemléletét és módszereit egyesíti a mikrotörténelmi megközelítéssel. Hatalmas történeti forrásanyagot mozgat meg, és eredményei alapján jelentős részben újraírható a vizsgált korszak, a 18. század második és a 19. század első felének magyar társadalomtörténete.
Summary (EN)
In his posthumously published book, Gyula Benda first builds his macro-analyses on several different sources (at once relativizing their values), then shows the different groups of the society of Keszthely from a micro-perspective. His microhistorical investigations are not illustrations, but tools of his scholarly analysis, of equal rank with the quantitative methods making possible of interpreting, controlling, refining, even modifying the results of macro-investigations. Moreover, micro-investigations sometimes suggest hypotheses for the investigations to be performed on the macro level, and otherweise they bring the erstwhile inhabitants of Keszthely closer to the reader. All in all, the book combines the approach and methods of social science history with those of microhistory. Based on a huge historical source material, its results make it possible to re-write the social history of Hungary in the later 18th and early 19th centuries to a significant extent.
