The First Revival of Khögshin Khüree in Second Khoroo of Baganuur, 1990 The first revival of Khögshin khüree sits on the brow of a hill on a road leading off the main Ulaanbaatar road about 8 km west of Baganuur city centre. The small temple was deserted the day I visited and the ochre painted surrounding wall had collapsed in places so the cattle were able to get into the enclosure to graze. The door was firmly locked but peeping through the keyhole I could see a simple altar and monks’ seats, 27
