Nature, Art, ACTIVISM 225 ee N ae The aim of this chapter is to provide an insight into environmental art or ecoart. It will review the creative answers given by contemporary art to environmental problems, its role in exploring and understanding these problems, and how it may inspire solutions, and collective action. The chapter highlights the fine arts, with an — extremely short — detour to literature. Music, film and theater, on the other hand, are not discussed here, as they are beyond the chapter's scope.
