AUTHORS Kovacs, David David Kovacs is Senior Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary History at the Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. He is a specialist on modern Hungarian intellectual history. He is the author of Szabó Dezső nemzetszemlélete. Research fields: the history of ethnology/anthropology in Hungary and Central Europe; the representation of non-European indigenous peoples in Hungary KROCANOVÁ, Dagmar Dagmar Krocanovä (1967) graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovak, Russian and English linguistics and literatures), and got her PhD in the theory and history of Slovak literature from the same university in 1997. She also studied at UCL London and Indiana State University Bloomington, IN, USA. Between 2006 and 2012, she taught Slovak at Bologna University in Forli, Italy. She is an Associate Professor (Reader) at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia), and currently the head of the Department of Slovak Literature and Literary Studies. She teaches and researches 20" century Slovak prose and drama. She publishes in Slovak and English, and occasionally translates from English. She has edited several books by early 20" century Slovak writers. Her monograph on Slovak drama and theatre between 1945 and 1949, entitled Nerozrezand drama (Uncut Drama), was published in 2007. MAKKAI, Béla Dr. Makkai Béla CSc. historian, associate professor (Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary). He deals with 19" century world history (with a special focus on Middle- and South-East Europe). His field of research: Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin and the neighbouring countries in the Era of Dualism (1867-1918) MARÍN, Guillermo Guillermo Marín (1983), Doctor of History in the University of the Basgue Country (2014), and guest researcher at the Universita di Torino (2013).
