APPENDICES APPENDIX G CHRIS COOPER: THE LEVELS OF MEANING — A BONDIAN APPROACH? (Unpublished document from 2011) Chris Cooper has attempted to create a Bondian version of Dorothy Heathcote’s ‘Five layers of meaning’ based on Heathcote’s original, and Geoff Gillham’s re-work (discussed in section 3.3.6.). This has not been published as yet, because Cooper is not satisfied with it and intends to develop it further. I believe it is a useful document which helps in considering important issues related to depth in drama. I have shared it here with Cooper’s permission.
