The cause of the enterprise is made up of multiple elements: at the beginning of our 21st century, after the fall of the economic and social systems, we have undoubtedly a more nuanced view of the social reform movements. The revision of the reform project of the social Catholics cannot pass without a certain ambiguity. On the one hand, this political current, once virulent but rather closed in its cultural and social frameworks did not succeed in dominating the political life of France, Germany, Italy and Spain. On the other hand, however, it was present for several decades in French, Austrian, German, Belgian, Italian and Swiss political thought.
